People who are from or passing through COVID-19 hit areas will have to pay for isolation when arriving in the northern province of Bắc Ninh from Monday (April 7), according to Nguyễn Hương Giang, chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Four new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Tuesday afternoon, bringing the total patients reported in Việt Nam to 249, said the Ministry of Health.

Another 27 COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from hospitals on April 7, bringing the country’s total to 122 cases being given the all-clear in Việt Nam.

Passengers must fill in medical declarations and have their temperature checked before boarding.

Some 63 doctors and nurses of the Hà Nội Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital have been quarantined at the hospital on Monday after the 243rd COVID-19 patient was confirmed on the same day.
