Health ministry urges passengers on eight flights to come forward over COVID-19 infection fears

HÀ NỘI — The Ministry of Health on Monday urged passengers on eight flights that entered Viet Nam in the past two weeks to contact authorities for guidance on health monitoring, as all had passengers on board confirmed to have contracted COVID-19.

They are SQ 176 from Singapore to Nội Bài International Airport in Hà Nội on March 15, VJ 826 from Malaysia to Nội Bài on March 4, TK 162 from Istanbul to HCM City on March 8, QH 1521 from HCM City to Phú Quốc on March 9, QH 1524 from Phú Quốc to HCM City on March 13, SU 290 from Moscow to Hà Nội on March 13, QR 970 from Doha to Hà Nội on March 10 and TG 564 from Bangkok to Nội Bài on March 15.

The ministry asked all the passengers on the flights to contact the disease control centres of provinces and cities for guidance.
Agents selling tickets for them are responsible for notifying the passengers who bought tickets for the flights.
