HCM CITY — The HCM City Department of Transport will begin on Tuesday to monitor vehicles violating traffic rules via fixed camera systems at 14 roads in the city centre.
The 14 streets include Pasteur, Lê Duẩn, Hai Bà Trưng, Lý Tự Trọng, Lê Lợi, Nguyễn Thái Học, Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa, Điện Biên Phủ, Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, Nguyễn Thị Nghĩa, Đinh Tiên Hoàng, Tôn Đức Thắng (in District 1); Trường Sơn (in Tân Bình District); and Điện Biên Phủ (in Bình Thạnh District).
If more roads are added in the future, the department will issue an official announcement at least seven days before it is carried out.
Data about "the violating vehicles captured on camera" will be available on the website www.giaothong.hochiminhcity.gov.vn or the department's smartphone app on Android and iOS.
