ĐẮK LẮK One person was killed and ten others were injured in a road accident in the central Highlands province of Đắk Lắk early on Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred at 3am on highway No 6 passing Ea Tu commune, vietnamplus.vn reported.
According to the initial reports, the coach driver, Trương Hoàng Giang, 36, was travelling on the highway when he lost control of the vehicle. The coach drifted to the left and climbed the curb, crashing into a truck and an electric pole before coming to a stop near houses.
The deceased was a passenger, identified as Nguyễn Thị Chánh, 65, from Đắk Mil District, Đắk Nông Province.
Dozens of other injured passengers were taken to local hospitals.
Emergency services were present at the scene and used a crane to lift the coach and recover Chánh's body.— VNS
