ĐẮK LẮK — Police in the Central Highland Province of Đắk Lắk found a brick of heroin and 30 meth pills in the luggage of a man travelling by coach from the central province of Thanh Hoá to the Central Highland province of Đắk Nông on Friday morning.
Phàng A Lữ, 42 years old of Đắk Nông Province, told police that he had been visiting his wife's hometown in Mường Lát District, Thanh Hoá Province.
Lữ, who is a drug user, said that on Tuesday, an unknown woman arrived at his mother-in-law’s house and offered him the heroin and meth.
He paid her VNĐ30 million for the drugs and hid them in his luggage before catching a coach to Đắk Nông.
The case is under further investigation. — VNS
