Free health examination for men in HCM City

HCM CITY — The Men’s Health Centre in HCM City’s District 10 is set to provide free health examination, tests and counselling to 300 men, including from the LGBTIQ community between today (May 15) and June 5.

The tests include semen analysis and screening for sexually transmitted diseases.

Dr Trà Anh Duy of the centre said the modern lifestyle, especially in large cities, affects people’s health.

Work-related and other stress, sedentary lifestyles, an unhealthy diet and other factors have an impact on men’s reproductive health.

As a result, the number of young men contracting diseases and suffering from disorders has increased in recent years.
