HCM CITY – At 7 am today two young men wearing black jackets and masks and with a machete and a gun barged into the HCM City-Long Thành-Dầu Giây Expressway’s toll collection office in Đồng Nai Province and robbed hundreds of millions of đồng.
They assaulted some of the staff at the office in Thống Nhất District, threatened others and took money from the safe and put into their backpacks.
They then rode off on a motorbike towards Commune Street No 25.
Officials from the Vietnam Expressway Services Engineering Joint Stock Company said more information related to the robbery would be announced later.
The Đồng Nai Police examined the scene and checked footage from security cameras at the office and surrounding areas to identify the thieves. – VNS
