HCM CITY — A new bus route from HCM City’s Tân Sơn Nhất Airport to the Vũng Tàu Bus Terminal on Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa Street in Vũng Tàu City begins at the end of this month, according to the HCM City Department of Transport.
The 105km long bus route is expected to operate from midnight to 11:30pm
Passengers who travel half of the route will pay VNĐ80,000 (US$3.5), while more than half of the route will cost VNĐ160,000 ($7).
The bus will travel on HCM City-Long Thành-Dầu Giây expressway.
The HCM City’s People’s Committee has directed its Police Department and inspectors of the Department of Transport to work with Vũng Tàu City on inspection and supervision activities.
In addition, the People’s Committee also told units to work with the Southern Airport Authority and Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport to strictly handle illegal buses to ensure order and safety in the airport area.
From the airport, the bus route will include Trường Sơn, Trần Quốc Hoàn, Hoàng Văn Thụ, Nguyễn Văn Trỗi, Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa, Lê Duẩn, Tôn Đức Thắng and Nguyễn Hữu Cảnh streets, Hà Nội Highway, Mai Chí Thọ Street, Long Thành-Dầu Giây Expressway, National Highway No 51, and to Bình Giã, Thống Nhất Lê Hồng Phong, and Nam Kì Khởi Nghĩa Street in Vũng Tàu. — VNS
