ĐÀ NẴNG — Police in Sơn Trà District, Đà Nẵng City on Wednesday reported they were expanding investigations into an online gambling ring that was busted recently.
Thirteen people, including seven Chinese nationals and six Vietnamese, have been detained for organising gambling worth VNĐ5 billion (US$271,390), zing.vn reported.
On December 19, local police raided two houses on Dương Văn Nga Street in Nại Hiên Đông Ward and found many Chinese staying there.
Police searched the houses and seized 11 passports, 99 mobile phones and 27 laptops.
The group rented the houses from local residents.
