HCM CITY – Gia An Hospital 115 in HCM City on Tuesday launched a charity campaign called Hạc Giấy Trao Triệu Niềm Tin (Paper Crane Bringing Belief) to donate funds for treatment and surgeries for child patients with severe health problems and diseases.
The hospital on Tuesday started to receive cranes made of paper with wishes written on them from the public. For each crane it gets it will donate VNĐ30,000 (US$1.3) to its Nhịp Đập Yêu Thương fund.
The campaign, to last until December 22, hopes to collect 5,000 paper cranes from the hospital’s staff and the public.
In Việt Nam, nearly 12,000 babies are born with heart diseases and other congenital health conditions. – VNS
