A hundred of food poisoned victim being treated

HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội’s Đông Anh District authorities yesterday mobilised all resources to treat almost 200 children suffering food poisoning after a party at Xuân Nộn Kindergarten.

Đông Anh District People’s Committee asked hospitals to build up the most effective treatment regime to help these youngsters.

Lê Trung Kiên, the district head, ordered officials to stay at medical facilities at which children received treatment to provide support.

Xuân Nội Kindergarten was sprayed with sterilising chemicals, especially at its kitchen area after the party last Wednesday.

Until Sunday morning, 192 child patients were treated at hospitals in Đông Anh District and Hà Nội’s urban hospitals.

Most of them were making a full recovering.

From Thursday to Friday, a hundred of them suffered symptoms of headache, nausea and fever then were hospitalised at local and central medical facilities. — VNS
