Hotlines on traffic safety announced

The National Traffic Safety Committee has announced 10 hotlines to receive residents’ reports about traffic safety on National Day, which is on September 2, and the start of the new school year.

HÀ NỘI — The National Traffic Safety Committee has announced 10 hotlines to receive residents’ reports about traffic safety on National Day, which is on September 2, and the start of the new school year.

Residents who wish to report information about road, railway and waterway transport, including overcharged prices of tickets or overloading, can call 0913432383, 0916908085, 0917908085 and 0962665953, as well as 0964045445 and 0977497891.

Residents reporting information about traffic safety and traffic accidents can call 0868911911, 0941329634, 0973095896 and 0995918666.

Residents reporting information connected to penalties for traffic safety violations can call 0692342608.

The National Day holiday this year lasts only for three days, therefore transport enterprises said ticket prices would not increase. Airlines and railways said they still have a number of spare seats.

To meet passengers’ demand, the Hà Nội Transport Station Joint Stock Company has assigned 300 more coaches at Giáp Bát, Mỹ Đình and Gia Lâm terminals.

The railways has also organised 26 more trains. — VNS
