HÀ NỘI — Hà Nội Transport Service Company (Transerco) will replace all No 50 buses with new ones that provide passengers with free wifi and other conveniences.

All the vehicles will be painted blue and be equipped with lower floors, modern emission standards, free wifi and a modern GPS management software system.

A representative of the company said by 2016, Hà Nội Transerco had replaced 127 buses. Since the beginning of 2017, 24 new vehicles have been added, bringing the total number of new vehicles to 151.

Now, people are more likely than ever to have access to cheap and convenient public transport, the company said.
The company also officially launched the Mai Dịch Depot, the twelth Transerco depot. It is located at the western gateway of the city, facilitating the development of public passenger transport. The depot is said to be the most modern ever built by Transerco.
The project covers an area of ​​nearly 42.000 sq.m, designed with synchronised infrastructure system, including maintenance area, parking area and petrol station. Its capacity for vehicle maintenance is up to 20 buses a day.—VNS
