HCM CITY — A bus route from HCM City’s District 8 to Tiền Giang Province’s Gò Công Town was launched on Monday.

The 53-km route, which runs to Tiền Giang and Long An provinces, operates 120 trips a day, with ticket prices of VNĐ5,000 - 25,000 (US$0.22 - 1.12).

The transport departments of HCM City, Tiền Giang and Long An helped establish the bus route.

Lê Hoàng Minh, deputy director of the HCM City Transport Department, said his department would co-operate with transport departments of other provinces and transport firms to invest in buses to ensure better passenger services.— VNS
