HÀ NỘI — Saint Paul general hospital on Tuesday announced that it would open a high-tech medical centre in the capital city by end of November.
The centre, which will cost VNĐ300 billion (US$13.6 million), will double as a workforce training and technology transfer centre.
The centre, said to be the first in Ha Noi to meet international standards, will have 12 check-up rooms that specialise in screening for cancer related to the digestive system, three modern surgery rooms and three patient rooms with 45 beds. It will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities from Europe such as a magnetic resonance imaging and scanner system for early detection of cancer. —VNS
