HÀ NỘI — The Việt Nam Space Technology Museum inside the Space Technology Centre, located in Hà Nội’s Hòa Lạc Hi-tech Park, is scheduled to open to the public in late 2017.

The museum is spread over more than 5,000sq.m, divided into two parts, including a 1,675sq.m. indoor area and a 3,500sq,m. outdoor section.

Made at a cost of some VNĐ200 billion (US$8.9 million), the museum has been designed to become a favourite destination for tourists, providing them with an overall view of the development of the national space industry – one of the young industries in Việt Nam. —VNS
