HÀ NỘI – The Party Central Inspection Commission has warned that numerous accounts, pages and groups have appeared on social media platforms unauthorisedly using its name, images and insignia to impersonate the body and post information.

The accounts and pages regularly lift content from press sources and republish it on social media. Among the material reposted are details of the Commission's sessions and activities of the Party Inspection Sector, sourced from the Commission's official electronic information portal (https://ubkttw.vn), without authorisation from the Commission or the unit responsible for managing the portal.

Some accounts and pages have also embedded unverified information and distorted commentary, adversely affecting the Commission's inspection and supervision work as well as the reputation and image of the Party Central Inspection Commission and the Party Inspection Sector.

The Commission stressed that it currently manages and operates only one official electronic information portal, at https://ubkttw.vn, for the purpose of disseminating information and communicating about the activities of the Party Inspection Sector. It does not operate any accounts, pages or groups on any social media platform. — VNS
