ĐÀ NẴNG – Tech giant FPT Group has put into operation its first 'smart' green school – the Zeta Building – in Đà Nẵng's FPT City Complex, offering international-level education based on AI-driven tech, cybersecurity and net zero standards.
The ‘Smart School 4.0' is the third training centre in the FPT Schools education system. It is designed for 7,000 school students with personal development plans and has a robotics lab with low carbon applications, efficient energy use and a green science, technology, engineering and mathematics curriculum.
Chairman of FPT University Council Lê Trường Tùng said that FPT is building the first educational ecology system for high-tech, environment-friendly and sustainable development.

The school will be developing a workforce of technology-trained personnel in Quantum AI and cybersecurity, chip design and high-speed railway engineering through higher level education serving Đà Nẵng’s high-tech industries, Tùng said.
FPT has built 18 schools in 11 provinces and cities nationwide since 2013.
Last year, FPT also inaugurated the Hope School, its first-ever educational facility with accommodations to help children who lost their parents to COVID-19 through primary to high school.
The Hope School, which took care of 1,000 orphaned children in 2021, is the only school in Việt Nam receiving charity support through the Educational Fund through music programmes from the Japanese government.
The FPT City Complex is one of four centralised information technology zones in Đà Nẵng City that provides working space for a total staff of 53,000 in a variety of digital industries. VNS
