HÀ NỘI – The Hà Nội People's Committee has issued a decision on approving the overall adjustment task for the detailed planning of the Northern Distribution Centre for storage and goods delivery.

The planning research location is within the administrative boundaries of Kim Hoa Commune and Chi Đông Township in Mê Linh District.

The northern boundary is adjacent to planned agricultural green space, while the eastern boundary coincides with the planned road lines with cross-sections at 24 metres and 20.5 metres.

The western boundary aligns with the previous detailed planning boundary and the southern boundary borders Ngô Miễn Road and the boundary of the Northern Transport Operations Centre project.

The total land area outlined in the revised plan covers approximately 15.5ha.

Planning has been established to determine land-use functions in accordance with the area's characteristics and development orientation.

It aims to balance architectural and social infrastructure planning criteria, aligning with standards and current design regulations of sub-regional urban planning to synchronise the technical and social infrastructure systems in the area.

Additionally, the plan will establish management regulations based on the approved design, serving as a foundation for managing investment projects, adjusting investment projects per regulations, proposing a list of priority investment projects, identifying resources for implementation and controlling urban development and management.

The research area will serve as the headquarters and product exhibition centre for distribution and delivery of finished goods for organisations and units.

This must comply with safety and hygiene standards, ensuring no environmental pollution, so the area must include urban greenery, including parks and agricultural green spaces.

The timeline for completing the planning design is six months from the date the task has been approved.

The European Plastic Window Company Limited has been assigned to organise this planning task.

The Hà Nội People's Committee requires the company to ensure timely implementation in compliance with State and municipal regulations on planning, investment and construction management.

The company must closely coordinate with relevant departments, the Mê Linh District People's Committee, Kim Hoa Commune People's Committee and Chi Đông Township People's Committee, as well as local organisations and communities, to conduct research and implementation in accordance with current regulations.
