HÀ NỘI — Police from Hai Bà Trưng District and Hoàn Kiếm District extinguished a bus fire early Thursday morning on Nguyễn Khoái Street, Hà Nội.

During the initial investigation, it was discovered that the bus suddenly caught fire at 5 a.m. on Thursday morning while traveling in the direction of Lương Yên-Bác Cổ.

A witness informed the police that the fire quickly ignited from the front of the vehicle. Fortunately, there were few people on the bus at the time, and the passengers were able to escape in time.

Local residents at the scene attempted to extinguish the fire using hand-held fire extinguishers but were unsuccessful.

The fire was only brought under control when the police arrived and extinguished the flames.
