HÀ NỘI — Zing News announced on Thursday afternoon that it will halt all operations for three months starting July 14, following the conclusion of an inspection by the Ministry of Information and Communications and a subsequent decision by the Vietnam Publishing Association.
During this hiatus, the e-magazine said it will focus on reviewing and correcting its current "shortcomings" according to the PM’s Decision No 362/QĐ-TTg (dated April 3rd, 2019) on national press development and management planning until 2025.
Zing News added that it would continue to renew its content and format to align with the principles and purposes stated in its publication licence, as well as the functions and missions of a magazine under the Vietnam Publishing Association.
The e-magazine’s representative also sent their apologies to the readership and expressed gratitude towards authorities for their assistance.
Zing News said it hoped to continue receiving support upon its return.
