HÀ NỘI — The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) will increase flight frequency at Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport in HCM City based on the transport needs of airlines during peak period of the upcoming Reunification Day (April 30) and Labour Day (May 1) holidays as well as the summer holidays.

CAAV will add 26 more flights a day from April 28 to May 3 and from June 1 to August 15.

This increase will help airlines provide about 4,500-5,000 more tickets per day, meeting travel demand during the holiday season.

CAAV requires airlines to operate flights on time and limit delays as well as strictly implement the public listing of selling prices on distribution channels and sanctions for ticket agents that do not comply with regulations. — VNS
