HCM CITY — The HCM City-based Văn Lang University (VLU) on December 22 officially launched its new brand identity, transforming into a Vietnamese university meeting international standards.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Nguyễn Cao Trí, president of VLU, said “Where impact matters” is VLU’s new brand positioning statement.
“The new brand identity is expected to create a new motivation for our strong growth in the new period after the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
During 27 years of development, the university has promoted innovation in learning and teaching activities, regional and global integration, and educational cooperation with the world's leading universities.
It offers more than 100 training programmes for 66 major disciplines in seven fields, and an education curriculum comparable with those in the top 100-200 of the world university rankings.
It has invested in facilities and improved the quality of teaching to help students access advanced knowledge and meet labour market needs.
Established in 1995, VLU aims to be one of the most admired young universities in Asia by 2030 with its human-centric strategy.
It has been recognised for breakthrough achievements in higher education, innovation, and contributions to the country and the global community. — VNS
