HÀ NỘI — Hóa Chất Dormitory and Rau Quả Nông Sản Dormitory in Ngọc Lâm, Long Biên District have been added to the list of dormitories to be rebuilt.
All homeowners in these dormitories agreed to rebuild them into new apartments, according to the Hà Nội People's Committee.
The Hà Nội People's Committee directed the Hà Nội Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department for Planning and Architecture, and Long Biên People's Committee to locate the range of the project, as well as enact land use tax discounting and exempting protocols.
The authorities must also plan for compensation, temporary relocation and to provide support for homeowners currently living in the two aforementioned dormitories. These are expected to be done within the fourth quarter of 2022.
The Hà Nội Department of Planning and Investment is responsible for choosing a real estate firm to be the contractor of these two new apartment projects by the first quarter of 2023.
To implement the plan, the Hà Nội People's Committee assigned the Long Biên People's Committee to research the dormitory rooms' current statuses; as well as participate in choosing the contractor and organise a conference for all homeowners to discuss the compensation and relocation plans.
The plans will include the number and area of flats, as well as other areas that are jointly owned.
Data on other buildings needing renovation and rebuilding are also needed for investors to build compensation and relocation plans. These must be completed by the end of 2022.
The Hà Nội People's Committee also asked investors to complete planning and clearance, as well as finishing protocols involving land use and construction by the second quarter of 2023. — VNS
