Three bodies found after drowning incident in Quảng Nam Province

Authorities from neighbouring Quảng Ngãi Province confirmed that they went missing in a basket boat while trying to rescue a fishing boat with other people on the Trà Bồng estuary last Sunday.

QUẢNG NAM — The bodies of two teenagers and a man have been found in the waters of Quảng Nam Province on Tuesday.

Authorities from neighbouring Quảng Ngãi Province confirmed that they went missing in a basket boat while trying to rescue a fishing boat with other people on the Trà Bồng estuary last Sunday.

Ngô Đức An, Vice Chairman of Núi Thành District People's Committee, announced the discovery of the three bodies in the waters of Tam Nghĩa Commune, Núi Thành District, Quảng Nam Province in the early morning.

Three bodies were later confirmed to be Nguyễn Thái (born in 1996), Nguyễn Tấn Nô and Bùi Đức Sự (both born in 2007).

All of them were from Bình Chánh Commune, Bình Sơn District, Quảng Ngãi Province.

The local authorities in Bình Chánh Commune, Bình Sơn District, and Quảng Ngãi Province had been searching the waters around Bình Sơn District for the missing.

Local people and the authorities helped to bring the bodies back to shore and give them to their families. — VNS
