Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and State Counselor of Myanmar Aung San Suu Kyi agreed to further deepen bilateral trade and investment on a win-win basis in order to achieve two-way trade valued at US$1 billion or higher during their talks in Hà Nội yesterday.

Any unilateral actions by any other country in Việt Nam's two archipelagoes in the East Sea – Hoàng Sa (Paracel) and Trường Sa (Spratly) – without the consent of Việt Nam are invalid and illegal, said foreign ministry spokesperson Lê Thị Thu Hằng.
