Mongolia always cherishes the good traditional friendship between the two countries, and considers Việt Nam a leading partner in Southeast Asia

Trương Thị Mai, Politburo member, permanent member of the Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee’s Secretariat, and head of the committee’s Organisation Commission paid a working visit to Sweden from October 28 – November 1.  

ASEAN-Korea Day takes place amid positive developments in the cooperation between the two sides across all fields, as celebrations mark the 35th anniversary of their diplomatic relations in 2024.

The trip takes place in the context that the two countries will celebrate the 70th founding anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2024.

The diplomat highlighted the fact that PM Rutte is coming with a high tech mission comprising of representatives from about 40 companies, which is seen as the next step of the two countries’ cooperation.

The dialogue took place against the backdrop of Việt Nam and Indonesia celebrating 68 years of diplomatic relations and 10 years of their strategic partnership.

The meeting pointed out that businesses were facing various challenges, such as difficulties in accessing capital, heavy tax burdens, and volatile prices.

Việt Nam wants to continue practical and effective cooperation with Russia across fields for mutual benefits of the two peoples, and for peace, stability and development in the region and the world.

The two countries' time-honoured relationship, mutual support, attention of the two countries’ leaders, rich natural resources and improved production capacity created a firm foundation and momentum for the cooperation in all spheres

National Assembly (NA) Chairman Vương Đình Huệ stressed that the Q&A would focus on four areas namely general economics – macroeconomics, sectoral economics, socio-culture, and judiciary matters, internal affairs and state audit.

The 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum themed “Common Security, Lasting Peace” opens in Beijing, China on Monday with the attendance of military leaders, experts and scholars from more than 90 countries. 

The Netherlands is one of Việt Nam’s leading important and time-tested partners. It is currently Việt Nam’s biggest investor in the European Union with combined capital of US$13.7 billion, and the largest importer of Vietnamese products in Europe, with two-way trade surpassing $11 billion.

Việt Nam always holds the consistent viewpoint of attaching importance to building the solidarity and friendship, long-term stability, strong mutual trust, and comprehensive cooperation with China, he stated.

PM asks WB give priority to key projects in the development of strategic transport infrastructure, such as the North-South high-speed railway, the HCM City-Cần Thơ and the Hà Nội-Hoà Lạc Hi-Tech Park railways.

Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyễn Chí Dũng said regulation frameworks must be adjusted to utilise resources, accelerate progress and public investment disbursement in road transport.
