Int’l conference on East Sea promotes mutual understanding: experts

The international conference on the East Sea, which was held by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam on October 25-26, plays an important role in promoting international community’s joint efforts to maintaining peace, prosperity and sustainable development in the East Sea, according to experts.

Forum bolsters OECD-Southeast Asia Partnership

The forum drew the participation of Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Trần Lưu Quang, OCED Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bùi Thanh Sơn and more than 200 ministers, deputy ministers, ambassadors and representatives from 48 OECD member states and Southeast Asian countries, and many scholars, experts and business community.

Party official pays working visit to RoK to seek closer ties

While in the RoK, Politburo member Trần Tuấn Anh held working sessions with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Yoo In-chon, Mayor of Busan city Park Heong-joon, First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Chang Ho-jin, and First Vice Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Youngjin Jang.
