Police search homes over theft of State secret documents

The investigation police agency under the Ministry of Public Security on July 13 searched the houses of three public servants in Hà Nội for allegedly stealing State secret documents.

HÀ NỘI — The investigation police agency under the Ministry of Public Security on Monday searched the houses of three public servants in Hà Nội for allegedly stealing State secret documents.

The suspects include Nguyễn Anh Ngọc, 46, residing in Bồ Đề ward, Long Biên District works as a member of the secretariat in the Hà Nội People’s Committee.

Nguyễn Hoàng Trung, 37, in Bạch Đằng ward, Hai Bà Trưng District works as a driver for Chairman of Hà Nội People’s Committee Nguyễn Đức Chung.

Phạm Quang Dũng, 37, in Tân Triều commune, Thanh Trì District works as a police officer at the Police Department for Corruption, Smuggling and Economic Crimes (Police Department for Economic Crimes), under the Ministry of Public Security.

The case is under further investigation. — VNS
