Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc lauded the strong growth across all fields of the Việt Nam-Japan extensive strategic partnership as he received Special Advisor to the Japanese Cabinet Isao Iijima in Hà Nội on Friday.

Việt Nam always attached importance to developing its friendship and multi-faceted co-operation with Africa, and Morocco was the country’s priority partner in North Africa, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân said on Thursday. 

Việt Nam and Morocco signed several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) on environmental, trade and industrial co-operation in Rabat on Thursday during an official visit to the African nation by Chairwoman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân.

Việt Nam and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have the potential for long-term and supplementary co-operation to boost mutual development, said Party General Secretary and President Nguyễn Phú Trọng.

African countries play a key role for Viet Nam’s future success, according to National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân. She was speaking during a visit to Morocco, saying the North African nation and Viet Nam have a lot in common, and can work together to develop friendship and good relations.
