Party Inspection Commission delegation visits Cambodia

A high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Inspection Commission, led by its head Trần Cẩm Tú, is paying a working visit to Cambodia.

PHNOM PENH — A high-ranking delegation of the Communist Party of Việt Nam (CPV) Central Committee’s Inspection Commission, led by its head Trần Cẩm Tú, is paying a working visit to Cambodia.

On Wednesday, , who is also Secretary of the CPV Central Committee, held talks with Ek Sam Ol, a member of Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) Central Committee and head of its Inspection Commission. They exchanged information about the state of both parties and countries and shared experiences in Party building, discipline, supervision and inspection in more detail.

They spoke highly of the implementation of co-operative agreements between the two Parties and countries over the years, and agreed to continue strengthening collaboration between the two inspection commissions with a focus on delegation exchanges.

In the context of complex, developing regional and international situations, they stressed the need to continue nurturing the Việt Nam-Cambodia friendship for the interests of each country’s people.

The host affirmed the CPP will do its utmost to deepen the relations between the two parties in all fields. The guest, in turn, said that under any circumstances, Việt Nam will work with Cambodia to strengthen the time-honoured friendship and co-operate to boost peace, stability and development in the region and the world. — VNS
