HÀ NỘI — The 16th National Assembly’s first session approved on Wednesday morning a resolution endorsing the Prime Minister’s nominations for ministers and other members of the Government for the 2026-31 term, with all 481 deputies present voting in favour.
The approved line-up comprises 17 ministers and other Government members as follows:
1. Phan Văn Giang, Politburo member, General, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence
2. Lương Tam Quang, General, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security
3. Lê Hoài Trung, Politburo member, Minister of Foreign Affairs
4. Đỗ Thanh Bình, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Home Affairs
5. Hoàng Thanh Tùng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Justice
6. Ngô Văn Tuấn, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Finance
7. Lê Mạnh Hùng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade
8. Trịnh Việt Hùng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Environment
9. Trần Hồng Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Construction
10. Lâm Thị Phương Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism
