CAM RANH — The Anam, a new 117-villa and 96-room resort overlooking Việt Nam’s pristine Long Beach in Nha Trang city which opened in April, has won a spot in Condé Nast Traveller India’s Hot List.
The Indian version of the magazine has announced its annual compendium of the world’s best new hotels in its August-September edition, with Conde Nast Traveller India’s editors and reporters scouring the world to determine the list.
On The Anam, Condé Nast Traveller India notes: “This beach resort near Nha Trang, an hour’s flight from Hồ Chí Minh City is designed for a peaceful, stress-free vacation. Between the 300m beachfront, three swimming pools, 3D movie theatre and range of dining options. But chances are you may choose never to leave your ocean-facing villa.””
Owner Phạm Văn Hiến said he and The Anam’s team were thrilled to be recognised by such a prestigious publication. “There isn’t a more desirable place to be on the water in Việt Nam and when I first discovered the land five years ago, I was struck by its breathtaking beauty and serenity, beginning an ambitious dream that has come to fruition in The Anam.”
Outside of India, only 12 hotels across Asia made the cut. Twelve hotels in India, 13 in Europe, six in the Americas and Caribbean, five in Africa, three in the Middle East and one in Australia and New Zealand each were selected, for a total number of 53 properties worldwide. — VNS
