HONG KONG, CHINA - Media OutReach - August 28, 2018 - Citiannounced today two senior appointments to its Consumer Banking team in HongKong, effective immediately.
Head of Insurance
Alson Ho has been appointed Head ofInsurance with overall responsibility for thegrowth and management of the bank's insurance business in Hong Kong, includingbusiness development, sales and distribution, channel management, and productassurance.Alson joined Citi Hong Kong in2006 as a Management Associate. He wasmost recently Head of Deposits, Trading and Margin Products, overseeing theConsumer Bank's balance sheet and retail banking products development andgrowth strategy. Alson reports to SujoyGhosh, Head of Insurance for Asia Pacific and EMEA, and Lawrence Lam, Head ofRetail Banking for Hong Kong.
Head of Cards and Unsecured Lending
Lawrence Li has beenappointed Head of Cards and Unsecured Lending. In this role, he is responsiblefor formulating and managing the product, sales, and business developmentstrategy for the entire credit card and unsecured lending product portfolio inHong Kong. Lawrence joined Citi HongKong in 2006 as a Management Associate. He was most recently Head of Cards Portfolio Management, responsible foroptimizing the overall profitability of the credit card portfolio, managing thepricing strategy, and driving sales through the digital channel. Lawrencereports to Sergio Zanatti, Head of Cards and Unsecured Lending for AsiaPacific, and Angel Ng, Chief Executive Officer for Citi Hong Kong and Macau,and acting Consumer Business Manager.
