Blue Wave programme celebrates 20th anniversary

The Voice of HCM City (VOH) radio station plans to launch a series of activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Làn Sóng Xanh (Blue Wave), a radio programme that promotes Vietnamese music.

Contest celebrates traditional music

Vietnamese residents aged 16 to 35 are encouraged to compete in the Bông Lúa Vàng (Golden Rice), a national amateur traditional music contest launched by Voice of  HCM City People (VOH).

Hội An lists intangible heritages

No permissions needed for popular songs: deputy PM

Deputy Prime Minister Vũ Đức Đam has said that already popular songs that have no words against traditional culture values and no violation against national benefits should not need any permission to be performed, regardless of when and where they were composed.
