HÀ NỘI — German chef Steffen Burkhardt will team up with veteran chef Thùy Linh of the Café Goethe to offer diners a culinary journey through a special dinner featuring a Vietnamese-German fusion menu on Saturday.

Entitled ‘The Blue Hour’, the event is part of Wanderlust Küche (Wanderlust Kitchen) – a project on gastronomic culture implemented by Goethe Institutes in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The term ‘blue hour’ refers to the transition from day to night, when the sun has just set and darkness is arriving. It is the moment when sunset and moonrise merge and the sky turns dark blue.

For many, the ‘blue hour’ means the end of a working day and leisure time beginning, a time when friends and family gather and go out to eat and drink.

The four-course dinner will start at 6pm and costs VNĐ1.2 million/person. Goethe Institute is at 56-58 Nguyễn Thái Học Street. Tel: +84 24 3734 2251. — VNS
