A debut feature of director Anthony Chen, the drama is about family matters. Pregnant Hwee Leng Lim and her husband Teck hire a Filipino live-in maid for household chores and to help with their son Jiale, whose behaviour has deteriorated since the recent death of his grandfather.

Ilo Ilo was premiered at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, where it awarded the Caméra d’Or Award, becoming the first Singaporean feature film to win at this prestigious film festival.

The screening will start at 7.30pm. The film will be presented in original languages (Hokkien/English/Tagalog/Mandarin) with Vietnamese and English subtitles.
