TOKYO — Việt Nam won one bronze and one encouragement prize at the 12th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.

The bronze winner was Vũ Trần Lý Diễm, 7, grade 2 of Hà Nội’s Trần Nhật Duật Primary School, for her work Dinosaur Car Against Ice-Melting in North Pole.

She said “Nowadays, global warming has caused many bad impacts to our Earth with natural disasters. Thus I wish I have a dinosaur car that can be anti-melting ice in the North Pole. It would be helpful to preserve the natural habitats in that area.”

Đinh Quang Hưng, 8 year-old, grade 3 of Hải Dương Province’s Nguyễn Trãi Primary School, won the encouragement prize for his work entitled Bee Car Absorbing Harmful Wave.

“Wifi helps us to connect, contact friends all around the world easily. Besides, it affects people’s health. For that reason, I dream a bee car that absorb bad electric waves/wifi, then transfers to electronic power to use in our normal life. That is the good way to save energy,” Hưng said.
