HÀ NỘI — An event titled Đối Thoại (Conversation) featuring rock music and painting will be held this Sunday at 36 Cát Linh street, Hà Nội.
The ‘conversation’ of modern rock and painting, of rhymth and colours, will be directed by painter Lê Thiết Cương with support of artist Thụy Kha and architect Nguyễn Đức Hiệp.
“The event is a conversation of rockers with passionate interest in painting and painters with their passion for rock. Come and converse,” said Cương.
The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy rock performed by Vinh Xiêm, Dũng Mùi and Cường Bồng, who were popular among students in 1980s and 1990s.
Besides rockers of 1980s and 1990s, the event also features AC/EC (Asian’s Easy) band, founded in 2012 by guitarist Chí Hiếu, Hoàng Trọc and Denmark drummer Janus Moeller.
Also in this event, works of painter Lê Thiết Cương, Phạm Trần Quân and Hải Rambo will also be exhibited and auctioned. —VNS
