HÀ NỘI — The Dinh Độc Lập (Independence Palace) in HCM City will open two more rooms for tourists starting April 28.
The two rooms were the working places of vice president Nguyễn Cao Kỳ and the bedroom of president Nguyễn Văn Thiệu of the former Sài Gòn administration.
The two rooms have recently been renovated based on architectural plans from the 1970s and items, as well as pictures.
Along with that, many training programmes for children will also be organised at the palace to teach children more about national history.
The Independence Palace is 20,000sq.m in size. It has three main floors, two entresols, a basement and 100 rooms. The palace opened for tourists in 1990.
