City hosts fundraising cycle competition

HCM CITY — The annual fundraising and team-building event, Saigon Cyclo Challenge, takes place from 12–6pm, on March 19 at  Celadon City in HCM City’s Tân Phú District.

Several seasoned teams have raced in previous years, including Caravelle Saigon, Hoàng Long Hoàn Vũ, Celadon City, Pizza Hut, Schindler, YanTV/Yan News, Atlas and Nutrifort.

The course will also see the arrival of a few new teams and brands such as Great Eastern Life, Guardian, and APG UK Alumni.

Exciting prizes for winning teams include a boat trip from Saigon Boat, food vouchers from Time Bistro, SabuKichoo, Hoàng Yến, Detective Games from Escape Hunt and Galaxy Cinema tickets.

Spectators can participate in activities organised by Saigon Flea Market, a Kid Zone with participation from KizCiti, Santa Fe Relocation and  Jett-Cycles, and a Main Raffle as  well  as  enjoy food and beverages provided by Pizza Hut, Time Bistro, Rôu (vegetarian), Magners Cider, La Vie and the Caterers.

Spectators can contribute to SCC by buying raffle tickets at a cost of VNĐ50,000 each.

First held in 2001, the Saigon Cyclo Challenge has attracted more than 21,000 participants and  raised more than US$720,000 to assist disadvantaged children and young people in Việt Nam, according to the organiser Saigon Children’s Charity. —VNS
