HCM CITY — The Face Vietnam 2026 has unveiled the top 37 candidates competing to become its next star model and new advertising face for the digital era.

The show, a Vietnamese version of the American reality show The Face, will innovate its challenges, selection methods, and evaluation criteria to find faces that meet the demands of the contemporary advertising market.  

It will also focus on developing contestants’ professional expertise, visual thinking, and ability to adapt to today’s fast-changing market.

The Face Vietnam 2026 aims not only to seek a winner with modeling potential but also to discover a new generation of advertising models.

Addressing the launch of the show in HCM City on Wednesdaynight, Lê Thị Quỳnh Trang, CEO of MultiMedia JSC and the show’s general director and producer, said, “The Face Vietnam has discovered and trained outstanding advertising faces and models suited to Vietnamese and international markets. The Face Vietnam 2026 will discover new Vietnamese advertising faces with an aspiration to soar even higher."

Trang announced, “MultiMedia JSC has officially acquired the rights to The Face Asia. It is a new step in the journey of bringing Vietnamese faces to regional and international markets.”

She affirmed that The Face Asia will be produced right after The Face Vietnam 2026 is completed.

Trang invited celebrated Vietnamese models Võ Hoàng Yến and Anh Thư, and Miss Universe Việt Nam 2017 H'Hen Niê, to be mentors of the show.

They will select 18 of 37 candidates to advance to the semifinals and compete for the title.

Fashion designer Đỗ Mạnh Cường is the host of the show.

The Face Vietnam was first held in 2018, naming Mạc Trung Kiên as the winner, and in 2023, announcing Huỳnh Tú Anh. 

This year, the event began its preliminary rounds in Hà Nội and HCM City in June, attracting around 2,000 contestants, including professional and amateur models and content creators. — VNS
