HÀ NỘI — Artist Trương Đình Huy will open his first solo exhibition promising that visitors will be taken into a dream like world of their own imagination.
The exhibition Dream, at the Centre for Fine Arts and Photography Exhibition in Hà Nội will have around 50 paintings on display, which use various techniques and mediums such as traditional dó (poonah) paper, acrylic and gouache.
"Huy doesn't focus on realistic depiction," said fine arts critic Đỗ Hữu Bằng. "He uses colours which are sometimes deep and sometimes bright, to reveal quite subtle rhythms of shapes."

"Each painting by Huy seems to have 'wishpering' sounds expressing his desire for the colourful melodies of life," said Bằng.
People will be free to soar into their own aspirations from the deep subconscious, according to Huy, which is why he named his first solo exhibition Dream. Adding that coming to the exhibition, viewers will feel flows of desire for love of life and human love.
