Songwriter Kim Duyên wrote the melody for Một Con Vịt, which was sung by three-year-old Xuân Mai at that time.

The music video, uploaded by Heo Con Channel on August 31, 2019, received 2.2 million likes and reached the one billion watch milestone at midnight on Saturday.

The clip, which lasts more than four minutes, features five yellow ducklings under the care their mother.

The song is a childhood favourite for many generations of children because of its catchy melody and vivid annimation. It has become a 'tool' to encourage Vietnamese youngsters to eat their meals. — VNS
