Local Vietnamese films are struggling to reach European and American markets due to local movie production culture.

HCM CITY — Cine Park, an outdoor movie screening event under the aegis of the 2024 HCM City International Film Festival, is taking place from April 7 to 12. 

The 7th Youth Fine Arts Festival is open to all Vietnamese painters, sculptors, and artists from the age of 18 to 35 years old to participate and summit their artworks.

The goal behind Italian Design Day 2024 is also to identify models and good practices capable of meeting the challenges of contemporaneity, highlighting the ability of Italian design to create and spread culture, as well as forms.

More than 10,000 tickets for a musical for children by talented artists from the IDECAF (Institute of Cultural Exchange with France) were sold on Ticketbox in 15 minutes. 

A total of 1.58 million couples said “I do” in 2023 – 128,000 fewer than in 2022, a number has been steadily falling since 2018.

HCM City and other provinces are organising numerous activities to encourage and firm up reading habits, especially among children and young people.

The recently released comic book entitled Sống (Live), by Vietnamese author Trần Hải Anh and French illustrator Pauline Guitton, presents a portrait of the complex relationship between Hải Anh and her mother and her roots.
