Đường Lâm Village on the western outskirts of Hà Nội has been considered as a live museum of ancient villages. In an attempt to preserve cultural heritage, local authorities are trying to develop various creative spaces inside the village to lure more tourists.

Covering an area of 203,000sq.m, the abandoned ancient structure has been transformed into a hive of vibrant and creative activities by Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023

The inauguration of a monument honouring Portuguese missionary Francisco de Pina (1585-1625) – the founder of the modern writing system of the Romanised Vietnamese script – will be held in Guarda City, Portugal on November 26.

To reach this target, the city will focus on efforts to develop travel products that embrace historical and cultural heritages, river-based tourism, eco-tourism and community-based tourism.

The award was given to nine projects in the five countries of Japan, China, the Republic of Korea, Sri Lanka, and Việt Nam, at a recent ceremony in Busan city, the RoK.

“By organising these specialised exhibitions, the Hanoi Museum not only showcases its role as a prominent cultural creative space in the capital city Hà Nội but also realises its commitments and initiatives to integrate creative activities into all aspects of life,” said Director of the Hanoi Museum, Nguyễn Tiến Đà

The Temple of Literature, the first university of Việt Nam built in the 11th century, has recently opened at night with dazzling 3D light shows. The heritage site turns out to be illusory and sparkling with tales about the eagerness to learn the traditions of Vietnamese people screened on trees and stones. The show is an attempt to attract more tourists to the site at night.
