HÀ NỘI — After a successful debut last year, Hay Glamping Music Festival will be back to offer music lovers a feast of sounds on September 29th and 30th.

According to the organiser, The BROS Entertainment, 'HAY' means ‘interesting’ in Vietnamese, the two-day event will present a line-up of the most popular bands and artists in Việt Nam.

“All the artists will showcase their best performance with songs that will be re-arranged especially for the festival. In addition, the combination of different artists on the same stage will also be expected to bring interesting surprises to the audience,” said the head of organising board, Hoàng Linh.

This year, the line-up of artists includes rock band Microwave, Màu Nước Band, singers GiGi Hương Giang, Bùi Trường Linh, KayCee, Machiot, Minh Đinh, Osad, Thịnh Suy, and Vũ Thanh Vân as well as others.

The pop-rock band Chillies, who are managed by Warner Music Vietnam and appear regularly on MTV Asia, will perform.

Alongside Vietnamese artists, the festival will feature international artists, including Australian singer-musician Floyd Thursby, who has been performing and composing in a variety of genres for 25 years, including rock, jazz, folk and contemporary classical.

Also coming from Australia is singer Mademoiselle who is best known for indie tunes Loanh Quanh (Walk Around) and Rơi (Falling). She has released albums Những Tiếng Hát Thầm (Whispering Singing Tunes), As Beautiful As The Night.

Her album The South Lands was completed in collaboration with Australian singer-musician Floyd Thursby, featuring nine songs performed in both Vietnamese and English.

Currently living in Germany, Vietnamese singer and music producer Vinh Khuất became popular among young music lovers in Việt Nam through his hits Quá Lâu (Too Long), Im Đi (Shut up), Hãy Nói Đi (Please Talk), Pháo Hoa (Fireworks). Together with his band, Vinh Khuất will fly to Việt Nam to perform at the HAY FEST 2023.

In the debut season last year taking place in August, four world-famous bands The Moffatts, 911, A1, and Blue were among the artists performing at the music event.

Although the organisers have not revealed the location where the festival will take place, the first 500 tickets with special prices were sold out immediately right after they were available for sale on the website www.hayfest.vn. — VNS
