HÀ NỘI -- Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Trần Hồng Hà has decided to establish a steering committee to monitor the project on strengthening the environmental management of river basins.
The decision aims to improve the quality of river water, which tends to be poor and suffers from severe pollution in some areas such as Cầu, Đáy, Nhuệ rivers and Đồng Nai River system.
The steering committee is responsible for directing, monitoring and supervising the execution of the project to ensure the target is met, schedule is followed and quality is achieved.
