Prior to this, the centre has released seven other wild animals at Bù Gia Mập National Park, including three Javan pangolins (manis javanica); a pygmy slow loris (nycticebus pygmaeus); a civet (paradoxurus hermaphroditus); a wild cat (prionailurus bengalensis); and a pig-tailed macaque.
These animals were returned into the areas of subzones 14 and 22 within the forestry section of Bù Gia Mập National Park.
These zones consist of mixed forests and natural mountainous forests, providing suitable habitats for the animals to find food and enhance their adaptability in the natural environment.
All seven animals are categorised as endangered species, falling under groups IB and IIB.
