HÀ NỘI — Retail fuel prices in Việt Nam were adjusted at 15.00 on July 9, with biofuel E5RON92 recording a steep decline.
Accordingly, the maximum retail price of E5RON92 was set at VNĐ19,191 (US$0.73) per litre, down VNĐ539 from the previous ceiling and VNĐ812 lower than E10RON95-III. The latter was capped at VNĐ20,003 per litre, a decrease of VNĐ412.
Meanwhile, the ceiling price of 180CST 3.5S mazut fell by VNĐ318 to VNĐ13,735 per kilogram. In contrast, the price of 0.05S diesel rose by VNĐ569 to VNĐ21,745 per litre.
Under the latest price review, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance decided not to use the petroleum price stabilisation fund for disbursement.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade said it will coordinate with relevant agencies to supervise petroleum traders to ensure a stable domestic supply, while handling any violations.
The two ministries will also closely monitor global market developments and recommend timely price stabilisation measures to the government. — VNA/VNS
